I was born and raised in Portland, TX, the second of four children and only boy. We moved to Billings, Montana my junior year of high school, and I ended up going to Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. After graduating with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and spending a few months without any employment on the horizon, I decided to go back to school, this time in Fairbanks, AK. I met my wife, Laura in Fairbanks, and we were married July 5, 2008, after graduating with an M.S. in Computer Science. We moved and are currently residing in Durham, NC.
